FREEcure – water-cooled UV performance for the highest demands
With FREEcure, IST METZ presents a patented, water-cooled UV system for high-performance applications. In addition to homogeneous radiation distribution and high energy efficiency, the particularly high UVC content enables the curing of printing inks and coatings with virtually no photoinitiators. This allows chemical additives to be significantly reduced or avoided altogether, which minimises migration and opens new possibilities for sensitive applications – particularly in food packaging printing. At the same time, users benefit from stable processes and reduced operating costs. At the exhibition stand, IST METZ will be presenting application samples from the flexible packaging sector, which impressively demonstrate the system’s innovative potential in flexpack printing.
LEDcure NX – the next generation of LED UV curing
The LEDcure NX system delivers maximum efficiency and futureproofing in LED UV technology. The combination of modular design, optimised cooling and high-power density enables energy-efficient operation with minimal maintenance requirements. In combination with intelligent SMARTcure technology, UV output is controlled according to the process, thereby reducing operating costs, increasing efficiency and supporting predictive maintenance for maximum production reliability.
THERMOcure – precise heat for perfect results
With THERMOcure, IST METZ is expanding its portfolio with a high-performance solution for thermal processes. The system ensures uniform and targeted heat input and is ideally suited for applications combining UV and thermal drying. Thanks to its easy integration into existing systems, production processes can be flexibly designed and optimal curing results achieved.
UV Analyzer – Real-time process control
The UV Analyzer enables precise and reliable measurement of UV dose – even in applications that are difficult to access using conventional measurement methods. The app-based analysis considers the unit type and spectrum for UV and LED systems and ensures high measurement accuracy through reference curves and calibrated measurement strips.
Measurement is quick and straightforward: apply the measurement strips, irradiate them and read the results via Bluetooth. The recorded values in mJ/cm² can be analysed directly and documented for quality assurance purposes.
